About Rebalance Wellbeing Hub CIC
A community-led wellbeing organisation bridging the gap between NHS care and real-world lifestyle change.
Who We Are
Rebalance Wellbeing Hub CIC is an Oxfordshire-based not-for-profit social enterprise created to make practical, evidence-informed wellbeing support more accessible to local people.
We officially began our activities on 7 April 2025 and were incorporated as a Community Interest Company in October 2025. From the beginning, our purpose has been clear: to help reduce health inequalities, improve health literacy, and support people to take earlier, more confident steps towards better wellbeing.
We work with individuals, families, community groups, and local partners across Oxfordshire, particularly those who may face barriers to accessing structured wellbeing support. This includes people living with ongoing symptoms, long-term health challenges, stress, fatigue, reduced mobility, lifestyle-related risk factors, or simply a sense that something is not quite right but they do not know where to start.
Our approach brings together preventative health education, lifestyle medicine principles, functional health thinking, coaching, movement, nutrition, stress support, and selected adjunct wellbeing therapies. We do not replace GP care or medical services. Instead, we help people make sense of their wellbeing, understand the lifestyle factors that may be influencing it, and create practical next steps that feel realistic and sustainable.
As a Community Interest Company, Rebalance is asset-locked and not run for private gain. Any surplus we generate is reinvested into community benefit — including subsidised access, free or low-cost education, community wellbeing programmes, and services for people who may otherwise be priced out of support.
In simple terms, we exist to bridge the gap between overstretched healthcare services and expensive private wellness — offering grounded, human, practical support for people who want to feel better, live better, and take more ownership of their health.

The Problem We're Solving
The NHS is one of the world's great institutions — but it is structurally reactive. By the time most people receive support, lifestyle-driven concerns are already established.
In Oxfordshire:
of adults live with recorded depression
of adults are overweight or living with obesity
meet the recommended five-a-day guideline
life expectancy gap between most and least deprived areas
Private wellbeing support typically costs £100–200+ per session — out of reach for many. Rebalance exists to fill that gap: upstream, affordable, community-grounded.
Our Mission & Vision
To reduce health inequalities and improve population wellbeing in Oxfordshire through preventative health education, holistic evidence-informed support, and accessible services for underserved populations.
A community-integrated wellbeing ecosystem where people understand and manage their own health, barriers to care are reduced, and lifestyle-based approaches become the first-line intervention.
How We Work
We operate across four layers:
Education
Community workshops and health literacy programmes across Oxfordshire.
Individual Support
HolistIQ assessments, wellbeing reviews, and personalised lifestyle plans.
Adjunct Therapies
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Red Light Therapy, and functional testing to complement your programme.
Community Infrastructure
Peer support, multilingual education, and community champions.
This is not a clinic. It is a hybrid system: education + lifestyle support + community infrastructure.
Our Legal Structure
Rebalance is a Community Interest Company (CIC) limited by guarantee, regulated by the CIC Regulator. This means:
- Assets are locked — they cannot be distributed privately
- Surplus is reinvested into community benefit
- We are accountable to the communities we serve, not shareholders
- Our activities are defined by a community interest statement
